Once upon a time….there was a little girl who loved reading, hot drinks, and dreaming. She grew into a young woman who wanted a place where she could find all of these things. Around this time she discovered a love for coffee shops. She saw coffee shops as a place where anything could happen. She saw that anyone could come, sit and write for hours about a magical land with princesses and superheroes. They could create a piece of art that could be treasured. Or most importantly, meet someone special and make memories for years to come. Most of her best conversations, stories, and ideas were brewed in coffee houses. Her dad saw how much she loved these places and knew that many others would too. He found an opportunity to create a coffee cottage together in the woods of Argyle, Texas in 2017.

And so Kimzey’s was born.

Along with expert carpenters, craftsmen, and artists the cottage was forged into a multi-faceted sanctuary for the people of North Texas. Inspired by the Comstock Cottages, Kimzey’s was built to be unique and welcoming to everyone. We want our guests to feel at home here. We want them to feel loved through our servant hearts and hands, our delicious coffee and sweet treats, and our desire to give each guest the most wonderful environment. A place they can share stories, create dreams, laugh with friends, warm by the fire, study and relax all while surrounded by the tempting aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
