Twist Twist Twist

The cotton swabs my ear,

The wax begins to clear.

Sweet Lord!

Is this what it's like to hear?!

#2

Pure joy say my ears,

To be clear of that gross wax.

Q-Tip, our hero.

The morning breaks the night,

The birds have set flight.

I get up from my bed,

Tangle the knots from my head.

wipe the sleep from my eyes,

watch the sun begin to rise,

shower off the night's events,

wander through life's laments,

then I begin to clean my face,

set my mind for today's race.

I reach for the cotton swab,

I clear the right of a wax blob,

The left feels clogged, but in sweet bliss,

Not a spot do I miss.

the cotton swab

the cotton swab

the weapon of choice

to fight the wax

that clings so tight

the cotton swab
